AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF
AMES, IOWA, BY REPEALING SUBSECTIONS-8.5 (2) AND 8.5 (5) !FOR THE PURPOSE OF REVISING REGULATIONS PERTAINING 10 THE Proof of Publication In The

PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, PROVIDING A
PENALTY AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE AMES DAILY TRIBUNE
HE IT ORDAINED by tile. City Council for the City of Ames,,,lowa:
Section One. The Municipal Code of the City of A„ies, Iowa, shall be and
is hereby amended by repealing subsections 8.5(2) and 8.5(5) thereof and-
adopting new subsections as follows:

(a) ,At the North Grand Shopping Center, along the east,
north, and west sides of the main building complex,
exclusive of areas marked for loading zones and
customer parking drives.
(b) At the'Lincoln Shopping Center, a lane thirty (30) was published in said newspaper for 1

sides in
the main building complex, exclusive of
areas marked for loading zones'•and customer parking consecutive weeks,the first

Section Two. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith L,
are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict if any. this 6 t�.h day of January
Section Three. Violation of the provisions of this ordinance shall be 1982
punishable as'a simple misdemeanor by a fine not to exceed one hundred (100)'
dollars or by imprisonment for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days.
