HomeMy WebLinkAboutA001 - proof of publication, December 31, 1981 LEGAL NOTICE LEGAL NOTICE ORDINANCE NO. 2798 AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING AN AREA OF AKNOW AS I A Proof of Publication in The REVITALIZATION AREA WHICH SHALL BE KNOWN AS URBAN REVITALIZATION PLAN AREA NO. 1 WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions Chapter 404, Code Iowa the A M E S DAILY TRIBUNE governing body of a city may, by ordinance, designate an area a of thea city as a revitalization area upon the completion of procedures in the law; and, JHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 404, Code of Iowa the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, has, by Resolution No. 81-317 enacted September 22, 1981, determined, for an area within the city, described generally as the Centra l Bus iness District and portions oI,the residential area north of the said Central. Business D"istric[ (See attached map.), as' STATE OF IOWA, STORY COUNTY, ss. follows: 1981.A. That the said area meets the criteria of Section 404.1 Code of Iowa, B.
