Dear Mr. Bountane:
On behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, I am requesting the
following correction and/or clarification of data for this
city from the 1980 reapportionment data file.
Specifically, the 1980 reapportionment data file provided
by the Bureau on magnetic tape lists the following blocks
which cannot he located anywhere on the 1980 census maps for
the city of Ames, Iowa.
Tract 2 - Black 240 - population 178
Block 241 - population 310
Please advise the following individual as soon as possible
regarding either the location of these blocks or verify their
tract and block numbers. The cities of Iowa are required to
redistrict their eLection precincts by the end of this calendar
year.
