Moorhead of the Ames Community School District has asked that I contact you and request that City staff prepare a report and analysis of the possible closing and the possible vacation of Wilson Avenue between Fifth Street and Sixth Street in Ames, Iowa. This portion of Wilson Avenue is bounded on the east and the west by property of the Ames Community School District, i.e. , Central Junior High School. I believe that this portion of Wilson Avenue is currently limited to one-way traffic in a southerly direction. Mr. Moorhead and the School District would appreciate the results. of this requested study and would be pleased to cooperate in any way that might be helpful.
