Home My WebLink About~Master - Amending Official Zoning Map, Rezoning south of East Lincoln Way, west of I-35 F ^ ORDINANCE NO. 2754 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, ADOPTED BY SECTION 38-1005 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA; CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED AND SHOWN ON SAID MAP AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 38-1006 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, AND TO AMEND THE ZONING REGULATIONS PROVIDED IN SAID MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa: Section 1 . The Official Zoning Map of the City of Ames, Iowa adopted by Section 38-1005 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, is amended by changing the boundaries of the districts established and shown on said Map in the manner authorized by Section 38-1006 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, and amending the zoning regulations provided in said municipal code as follows : That the following described property be rezoned from A-1 (Agricultural ) zoning district to G-I (Industrial ) zoning district. The Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Fractional Quarter, except the Interstate Hiqhway Right-of-way; and the East twenty-two acres of the Southwest Fractional Quarter of said Northwest Fractional Quarter; and the East forty fleet of the Northwest Fractional Quarter of said North- west Fractional Quarter, all in Section 7, Township 83 North, Range 23 West of the 5th P.M. , Story County, Iowa, containing 54. 36 acres , more or less, subject to legally established highways and easements of record; o;:ccrt tihe 4.04 East acres s f I-35 (,� ,av ing approximately 50. 32 �a� V JJ acres as shown on the attached land survey. ) MT-Na STUKY C0UNTY, I®V A `.� FILED FOR RECORD `�J".A.M.
