Electrical Rules and Regulations of the State Building Code Adopted The 'State Building Code' of the State of Iowa has been adopted and accepted as the local building code for the City of Ames, Iowa. The electrical rules and regulations forming a part of the state building code and promulgated as rules 630-5.200 (103A) through and including 630-5.299 (103A) Iowa Administrative Code shall govern electrical work and installations in the City of Ames. Violation of the standards of said rules or failure to comply with the provisions of said rules for permits, inspections, fees shall, when ocurring within the City of Ames, constitute an offense against the City of Ames, Iowa." Section Three.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict i herewith are hereby repealed toi the extent of such conflict. Section Four. Violations of the provisions of this ordinance shall' constitute a simple misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed one hundred ($100) dollars or by imprisonment for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days. section Five.
