AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE
OF THE CITY OF AMES , IOWA BY ADDING A
NEW SUBSECTION (g) TO SECTION 12-2007
THEREOF, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CREATING A
SEVENTH VOTING PRECINCT IN THE SECOND
WARD; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH TO THE
EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT IF ANY; AND,
ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City
of Ames , Iowa:
Section One. The municipal code of the City of
Ames , Iowa shall be and is hereby amended by adding to
section 12-2007 thereof , a new subsection as follows :
" (g) Second Ward, Precinct No. 7
The Second Ward, Precinct No. 7, consists
of the southwest quarter of the northeast
quarter of section 33, township 84 north,
range 24 west of the 5th P.M. , Story
County, Iowa. "
Section Two . All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of
such conflict if any.
Section Three. This ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and publication
as required by law.
