svBJEcr Gateway Hills Zoning
Due to City Council's decision to place a connecting street between nee:
Mortenson Road and existing Beach Avenue, Ordinance No. 2587 zoning Gateway
Hills is now inaccurate. The inclusion of the street has necessitated the
elimination of one single-family detached lot and created a different lot-
numbering arrangement.
Ordinance No. 2587's legal description reads:
"All of the land contained in the Official Plat of the
Gateway Hills Subdivision is rezoned from A-1 and R-1 to
R-2, except Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14,
15, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and Outlot X and
Outlot V, said excepted lots to remain as heretofore classified
and zoned."
This description should be amended to reflect corrected lot numbers and
read as follows:
"All of the land contained in the Official Plat of the ,
Gateway Hills Subdivision is rezoned from A-1 and R-1 to
R-2 except Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13,
15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and Outlot X and Outlot
W, said excepted lots to remain as heretofore classified
and zoned."
It should be emphasized that this in no way changes the zoning of the
area.
Would you please inform the City Manager of this matter so he can bring
it to the attention of the City Council for corrective measures.
