PAUL City Clerk June 10, 1977 TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: You are hereby notified that the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, will meet in the council chambers, Administration Building, at 7:30 p.m. , on the 28th day of June, 1977, to consider a proposed ordinance rezoning property located in an area generally bounded by Duff Avenue on the east, Lincoln Way on the south, Clark Avenue on the west and the C & NW RR tracks on the north, from C-2 (General Commercial) to C-4 (Retail Commercial) , and also to amend zoning regulations applicable to the C-4 district by deletion of footnote (L) in the chart in Section 38-1033 of the Municipal Code. The above rezoning has been recommended to the City Council by the Ames Planning and Zoning Commission. Your property is not under consideration for rezoning. However, since your property is within 200 feet of the tract being rezoned, you are invited to attend the Ames City Council meeting to express you opinions either for or against the proposed rezoning. PAUL City Clerk June 10, 1977 TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: At their meeting of June 7, 1977, the Ames City Council accepted the recommendation of the Planning and zoning Commission to rezone your property located in an area gnerally bounded by Duff Avenue on the east, Lincoln Way on the south, Clark Avenue on the west and the C & NW RR tracks on the north, from C-2 (General Commercial) to C-4 (Retail Commercial) . The City Council will also consider amendment to zoning regula- tions applicable to the C-4 district by deletion of footnote ( ,) in the chart in Section 38-1033 of the Municipal Code. A public hearing and first reading of an ordinance rezoning the land is scheduled for 7 :30 p.m. on June 28, 1977, in the council chambers, Administration Building.
