RETURN.TO CITY CLERKS OFFICE AMES, IOWA 50010 ' - F ORDINANCE NO. 2587 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, ADOPTED BY SECTION 38-1005 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA; CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED AND SHOWN ON SAID MAP AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 38-1006 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, AND TO AMEND THE ZONING REGULATIONS PROVIDED IN SAID MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa: Section 1. The Official Zoning Map of the City of Ames, Iowa adopted by Section 38-1005 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, is amended by changing the boundaries of the districts established and shown on said Map in the manner authorized by Section 38-1006 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, and amending the zoning regulations provided in said municipal code as follows: That the following described property be rezoned from A-1 (Agricultural) & R-1 (One- zoning district to R-2 Two-famil Dwelling) wnDwelling zoning � ( g) -i y`l istrict. All of the land contained in the Official Plat of the Gateway Hills Subdivision is rezoned from A-1 and R-1 to R-2 except Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, and Outlot X and Outlot V, said excepted lots to remain as heretofore classified and zoned.
