PAWL'S, Recorder .................. ...........................Deputy AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND CLOSE By.. TO PUBLIC USE A. PART AND PORTION OF THE ALLEY THAT RUNS EAST AND WEST B=,TEEN FIFTH AND SIXTH STREETS, EAST OF CRAWFORD AVENUE IN THE CITY OF AMES; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council for the City of Ames , Iowa: Section One . That all but the west 167 feet of the 16 foot wide alley that runs east and west, east of Crawford Avenue, between Fifth Street and Sixth Street in the City of Ames be, and the same is hereby , vacated and closed to public use . Section Two . Any and all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section Three .
