Sec. 33-11003. Obedience to
signs required.
When stop or yield signs are
erected as herein provided,
every driver of a vehicle shall
stop or yield at such sign or at
a clearly marked stop line
before entering an in-
tersection, except when
directed to proceed by a police
officer or traffic-control
signal.After having stopped or
Yielded at such sign,the driver
may proceed cautiously and
with due care, yielding the
right-Of-way to any pedestrian
legally within the intersection
and to any vehicles within the
intersection or approaching so
closely as to constitute an
immediate hazard.
Section 3. All ordinances and
parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to
the extent of such conflict.
Section 4. Violation of the
provisions of this ordinance shall
constitute a misdemeanor.
Section 5. This ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and publication
as required by law.
