HIGHWAYS �)F SAID CITY. Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa. tr Section 1. It shall be the duty of every J driver, teamster, chauffeur or person in charge of any vehicle upon any street, avenue, alley or public way-, to keep to the right of the center line of such street, avenue, alley or public way whenever practicable. Section 2. Whenever two vehicle ap- `, Y i proach each other on different streets avenues, alleys or public way, intersect- ing each other at right angles, and the two vehicles are traveling at speeds tha` will bring them simultaneously to such Intersection, the vehicle on the right shall have the right of way. Section 3. Whenever any el:icie shall overtake another vehicle it shall pass or. the left side of the overtaken vehicle. Section 4. When requested so to do any driver or person, having possession charge or control of any vehicle travel- - ing on any street or public way, shall as soon as practicable turn to tixe right, so as to allow any overtaken vehicle free f Passage to the left of the overtaken ve- hicle.
