STOPY CoUrgTY, lO FILED FOR REC© Fee$2.50 0' AUG 131974 4 ORDINANCE NO. 2485 ELLA N. iicmaACHER, ficatdi AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, ADOPTED BY SECTION 38-1005 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA; CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED AND SHOWN ON SAID MAP AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 38-1006 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA: Section 1. The Official Zoning Map of the City of Ames, Iowa, adopted by Section 38-1005 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, is amended by changing the boundaries of the districts established and shown on said Map in the manner authorized by Section 38-1006 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, and amending the zoning regulations provided in said municipal code as follows: That the following described property be rezoned from A-1, Agricultural District, to R-2, Two Family Dwelling District: The Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (NW=A SWJa) and the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (SW-1-4 NW-4 of Section 8, Township 83 North, Range 24 West of the 5th P.M. , Story County, Iowa, EXCEPT beginning at the Northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (SWi NW'i) of said Section 8, thence South 890 15' East 700. 5 feet, thence South 0' 1' West 384.0 feet, thence South 170 11' West 372.04 feet, thence South 890 5' West 590. 5 feet to the west line of said Section 8, thence North 758.05 feet to the point of beginning and containing 10.795 acres, more or less, exclusive of �the presently established road. Section 2. All other ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such 3rd Reading conflict. 8/6/74 Section 3.
