AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER #33 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE
i CITY OF AMES , IOWA; REPEALING SECTIONS 33-13080 AND 33-13139 ;
�J ESTABLISHING A NEW SECTION 33-13139 ; ELIMINATING THE THIRTY
i MINUTE PARKING ON WEST STREET AND CHANGING THE DESCRIPTION OF
THE PARKING METER DISTRICTS; REPEA__JING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE :
IT IS ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES ,
IOWA:
Section 1. Sections 33-13030 and 33-13139 of the Municipal
Code of the City of Ames , Iowa, as hitherto existing are hereby
repealed.
Section 2. A new section to be numbered 33-13139 is here-
is
by added to the Municipal Code of -=he City of Ames , Iowa, as
}1 follows :
Sec. 33-13139 . Districts established.
Two (2) parking meter distracts are hereby established

as follows :
District No. 1 is composed of the parking
meters located in the South one-half of
Section 2 , Township 84 North, Range 24
West in the City of Ames, Iowa;
j District No. 2 is composed of the parking
�i meters located in the North one-half of
Section 9 , Township 83 North, Range 24
West, and the Southeast one-quarter of _
Section 5, Township 84 North, Range 24
West in the City of Ames , Iowa.
Section 3 . All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con- I
�f flict herewith are hereby repealed . !
Section 4 . This ordinance :is in full force and effect from
' and after its adoption and publica-=ion according to law.
