Sections 12-2002 through 12-2009 of the ''Municipal Code of the City of Ames , Iowa, as hitherto existing are ,hereby repealed. i1 1 Section 2 . New sections to be numbered 12-2002 through I112-2009 are hereby added to the Municipal Code of the City of Ames ,' Iowa, as follows : Sec. 12-2002 . First ward described. i { The first ward consists of all that part of the City of Ames which lies North and East of a line described i as : beginning at the Southernmost point at which the it corporate limit of the City intersects the extension I� of Dayton Avenue to the South (boundary of Grant township) and proceeding Westerly along the corporate limit of the City of Ames to its intersection with a road running East from South Sixteenth Street in the City of Ames and proceeding West along that road to ( the point where it again intersects the corporate ++1 limit of the City of Ames , and proceeding generally Y( South and West along the corporate limit of the City 1 of Ames to its intersection with Duff Avenue and + proceeding North along Duff Avenue to its intersection with Squaw Creek and proceeding Westerly along Squaw f' Creek to its intersection with South Maple Avenue and f� proceeding North along South Maple Avenue to its intersection with South Second Street and proceeding ( East along South Second Street to its intersection 1' with South Oak Avenue and proceeding North along South Oak Avenue to its intersection with Lincoln Way and proceeding West on Lincoln Way to its intersection with Squaw Creek and proceeding North along Squaw !!ll Creek to its intersection with the Chicago and j Northwestern railroad track; thence southeasterly along that track to its intersection with Grand Avenue and proceeding North along Grand Avenue to the [� corporate boundary. 11 Sec. 12-2003 . Second ward described.
