STORY COUNTY, IOWA ' FILED FOR RECORD A.M,tTEB -71972 ELLA M. `2'1'AC€6_7 , Recorder ORDINANCE X0. 2389 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, ADOPTED BY SECTION 38-1005 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA; CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED AND SHOWN ON SAID MAP AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 38-1006 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA; AND REPEALING ALY AND ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA: Section 1. The Official Zoning Map of the City of Ames, Iowa, adopted by Section 38-1005 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, is amended by changing the boundaries of the districts established and shown on said Map in the manner authorized by Section 38-1006 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows : The North half of the Northeast Quarter (N� NE'k) of Section 7, Township 83 North, Range 24 West of the 5th P.M. , StoW County, Iowa, subject to roads and highways is transferred from the "A-l" District (Agricultural) and "R-l" District (Single Family Dwelling) to the "R-2" District (Two Family Dwelling) and shall be governed by all the provisions and regulations pertaining to the "R-2" District (Two Family Dwelling) , with the following exception: That part of the above described tract of land beginning at the NE corner of Section 7; thence S89038120" West along the Northerly line said Section 7, 1634.98 feet; thence S 89.65 feet to the point of beginning of a radius curve concave to the NW; thence Southwesterly along said curve 250.50 feet; thence Easterly along a 655.09 feet k: radius curve concave to the North an arc distance of 245.09 feet (the long cord of which bears S79038140" East) , to the point of tangency; thence N890381201 East 348.0 feet; thence S 940.65 feet; thence N89031125" East along the southerly line of the Nil, NE4, 1092.05 feet; thence North 1318.16 feet to the point of beginning is transferred to the "R-3" District (Multiple Family Dwelling) and shall be governed by all the provisions and regulations pertaining to the "R-3" District (Multiple Family Dwelling) . Section 2. All other ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section 3.
