AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF
AMES, , IO.ti7 A, ADO�P`-OFD BY SECTION 38-1005 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF
THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA; CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE DISTRICTS
ESTABLISHED AND SHOWN ON SAID MAP AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 38-1006
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA; AND REPEALING
ANY AND ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES,
IOWA:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map of the City of Ames,
Iowa, adopted by Section 38-1005 of the Municipal Code of the
City of Ames, Iowa, is amended by changing the boundaries of
the districts established and shown on said Map in the manner
authorized by Section 38-1006 of the Municipal Code of the
City of Ames, Iowa, as follows :
The East 130 feet of the South 229.15 feet of the
North 309.15 feet of Lot 6, Block 3, Landfill
Addition to the City of Ames, Iowa,
are transferred from the "I-l" District (Light Industry) to the
"I-2" District (Heavy Industry) and shall be governed by all
the provisions and regulations pertaining to the "I-2" District
(Heavy Industry) .
Section 2. All other ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance is in full force and effect
from and after its adoption and publication according to law.
Adopted this 25th day of November , 1969 .
