HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amending Official Zoning Map, Rezoning property east of Skunk River BOOK.-"PACE I ii s t . 3011 Fee ,; 4. 50 ORDINANCE NO. 2293 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, ADOPTED BY SECTION 38-1005 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA; CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED AND SHOWN ON SAID MAP AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 38-1006 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA Section 1. The Official Zoning Map of the City of Ames, Iowa, adopted by Section 38-1005 of the Municipal Code of -the City of Ames, Iowa, is amended by changing the boundaries of the districts established and shown on said Map in the manner authorized by Section 38-1006 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows : 1. The West 300 feet (except the North 33 feet) of the following described tract: All that part of the NW4 Section 18, Township 83 North, Range 23 West of the 5th P.M. , in Story County, Iowa, lying northerly of the R.O.W. line of U.S. Highway #30, and the interchange of Interstate I-35 and said Highway #30, said tract being further described as follows: "Beginning at a point on the north line of said NW4 Section 18 which is 50 feet easterly from the NW corner thereof; thence N 890 16' E along the north line of the N04, 1817.95 feet; thence southwesterly along a 1063 feet radius curve, concave to the Nov, the long chord of which bears S 6Go 45' 20" W, an arc list. of 623.8 feet (said line being 60 feet normally distant from the edge of slab of Ramp A) ; thence S 840 48 ' 30" W, 698.45 feet to a point which is 130 feet normally distant from the centerline of U.S. #30; thence S 850 08 ' W, along a line parallel to and 130 feet distant from the center of U.a. #30, 550.7 feet to the west line of a public road; thence N 10 39' 30" W, along the west line of said road, 329.4 feet to the point of beginning. " Subject to easements of record, if any. 2. All that part of the m44 Section 18, Township 83 Forth, Range 23 West of the 5th P.M. in Story County, Iowa, lying. northerly of the R.O.W. line of U.S.Highway #30, and the interchange of Interstate I-35 and said Highway #30, said tract being further described as follows : "Beginning at a point on the north line of said NW4 of Section 18 which is 50 feet easterly from the NW corner thereof; thence N 890 16 ' E, along the north line of the NW4, 1817.95 feet; thence southwesterly along a 1083 feet radius curve, concave to the NW, the long chord of which bears S 660 45 ' 20" W, an arc dist. of 623.8 feet (said line being 60 feet normally distant from the edge of slab of Ramp A) ; thence S 840 46 ' 30" W, 698.45 feet to a point which is 130 feet normally distant from the centerline of U.S. #30; thence S 85 08 ' 11, along a line parallel to and 130 feet distant from the center of U.S. #30, 550.7 feet to the west line of a public road; thence N 10 39' 30" W, along the west line of Paid road, 329.4 feet to the point of beginning. " (excepting therefrom the west 300 feet and the north 33 feet thereof) Subject to easements of" record, if any. a -t- are transferred from the "A-1" District (Agricultural) to the "C-3" District (Highway Commercial) andare governed by the provisions and regulations pertaining to the "C-3" District (Highway Commercial) . Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 3.
