HomeMy WebLinkAboutA002 - public notice PU13LIC NOTICE, TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa* proposes to a-mand the official Zoning Map of the City of Ames, Iowa, by changing the boundaries of `-:he districts established and shown on said Map as provided in. Section 38-1006 of the municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, -.--hereby trans -1.ng the following described property: Lots 4 through 16, Block 1, Lee and Little 's Addition; Lots 3 through 8, Block 2, Lee and Little 's Addition; and Lots 1 through 8, Block 3, Lee and Little 's Addition; or properties located along Welch Avenue south of Knapp Street, from "R-2 District (Two Family Dwelling) " to "R-4 District (Multiple Family Dwelling) " and shall be governed by all. the provisions and regulations pertaindag to the "R-4 District (Multiple Family Dwelling) ". A tract of land beginning at a point 327.6 feet South 00 431 East of the Northwest Corner Section 24, Township 83 North, Range 24 West of the 5th p.m., Story County, Iowa, thence South 00 431 East 1,314.4 feet, thence 14orth 890 30' East 270 feet, thence North 01 431, West 762,8 feet, thence North 270 361 west 597.5 feet to the point of beginning, containing 6.5 acres more or less.- or properties located Last of the proposed extension of Jewell Drive, from "R-1 District (Single Family Dwelling) " to "R-2 (Two Family Dwelling) " and shall be governed by all the provisions and regulations pertaining to the "R-2 District (r.rvo Family Dwelling) ".
