ORDINANCE NO. 2230
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 33 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE
CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY REPEALING SECTION 33-13068 THEREOF, AND
ADDING A NEW SECTION TO BE NUMBERED 33-13068, DESIGNATING STREET
LOCATIONS AND HOURS WHERE PARKING THEREON IS LIMITED TO PERIODS
OF FIVE MINUTES ; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
IT IS ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES,
IOWA:
Section 1. Section 33-13068 of the Municipal Code of
the City of Ames , Iowa, as hitherto existing, is repealed.
Section 2 . A new section to be numbered 33-13068 is
added to the Municipal Code of the City of Ames , Iowa, and is
as follows :
Sec. 33-13068 . Locations specified. Parking is limited
as provided in Section 33-13067 on the following streets
and parts of streets and in the following locations :
Kellogg Avenue from the South line of Sixth Street
to the first parking meter stall South on the East
side .
Kellogg Avenue, from the North line of the East and
West Alley between Fifth and Sixth Street during all
hours of every day to the South line of Sixth Street
on the West side.
Section 3 All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are repealed
Section 4 . This ordinance is in full force and effect
from and after its passage as provided by law.
