Home My WebLink About~Master - Amending Chapter 33 of Municipal Code; Designating a Special Stop Intersection cwb/8-7-67 ORDINANCE NO. 2199 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 33 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY DESIGNATING A NEW SPECIAL STOP INTER- SECTION IN THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. IOWA: IT IS ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, Section 1. A new section, to be numbered 33-11050. 2, is added to the Municipal Code, City of Ames , Iowa, and is as follows : Sec. 33-11050. 2. Knapp Street and Welch Avenue. "The intersection of Knapp Street and Welch Avenue is hereby designated as a special stop intersection. Traffic approaching this intersection from all directions shall stop before entering the intersection. " Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed. Section 3 . This ordinance is in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication according to law. Passed this 15th day of August 1967.
