Home My WebLink About~Master - Amending Chapter 33 of Municipal Code; Designating a Special Stop Intersection cwb/6-28-67 ORDINANCE NO. 2196 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 33 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY DESIGNATING A NEW SPECIAL STOP INTERSECTION IN THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFEC- TIVE DATE. IT IS ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES , IOWA: Section 1. A new section, to be numbered 33-11050. 1, is added to the Municipal Code, City of Ames, Iowa, and is as follows : Sec. 33-11050. 1. Ontario Street and North Dakota Avenue. "The intersection of Ontario Street and North Dakota Avenue is hereby designated as a special stop inter- section. Traffic approaching this intersection from all directions shall stop before entering the inter- section. " Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed. Section 3 . This ordinance is in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication according to law. Passed this 25th day of July , 1967. Lo ise Whitcome, City Clerk D.
