Home My WebLink About~Master - Amending Chapter 25 of Municipal Code; Prohibiting Parking Ar i ORDINANCE NO. 2160 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 (TRAFFIC) OF THE MUN- ICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY REPEALING SUBPARA- GRAPH (56) OF SECTION 25-105.17 THEREOF; DESIGNATING AN ADDI- TIONAL LOCATION WHERE PARKING IS PROHIBITED; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. IT IS ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES., IOWA: Section 1. Subparagraph (56) of Section 25-105. 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa,, as hitherto existing, is repealed. Section 2. A new subparagraph to be numbered (56) is added to Section 25-105.17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames_, Iowa_, and is as follows : " (56) Sixth Street on the south side from Duff Avenue to the west side of Brookside Park, dnd on the north side thereof from the Chicago and North- western Railway Company's right-of- way east for a distance of one-hundred feet, and on both sides of Sixth Street between the west line of Grand Avenue and the east side of Squaw Creek Bridge. " Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed. Section 4.
