HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Vacating All Alleys in Block 19, Blair's Addition r Inst . #4905 ORDINANCE NO. 2158 Fee : 51 . 50 AN ORDINANCE VACATING ALL OF THE ALLEYS IN BLOCK 19, BLAT_R' S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES , IOWA: Section 1. That all of the alleys in Block 19, Blair ' s Addition to the City of Ames, Iowa, be and the same are hereby vacated as public alleys . Section 2 . That the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, a Quit Claim Deed to the Ames Community School District, the abutting property owner, and that the City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized and directed to make a certified copy of this ordinance and attach the same to the said Deed. Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 4 . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this 6th day of September 1966 . T. Whitcome, City Clerk D.
