IT IS ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES,, IOWA: Section 1. The following streets and alleys are vacated: All streets and alleys in Blocks A. B,, Ct D4 E. and F. Foster's Addition to New Philadelphia (now Amest Iowa) , in Section 6a Township 83 Northx Range 24 West of the 5th Prime Meridian= Story Countyl Iowa* as shown in Town-- lot Record "D,, " page 2,x office of the County Recorderz Story Countyw Iowa, EXCEPT Grove Street, Deleware Avenue (formerly known as Main Street) ,- the East 40 feet of said addition which includes proposed North Dakota Avenue (formerly known as State Street),, Ontario Street (formerly known as "County Road") and the 30 foot right— of—way immediately South of and adja— cent to Block "B" of said Foster*s Addition to New Philadelphia (formerly known as North Street) . Section 2. The Mayor and the City Clerk are author- ized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Ames; Iowan quit--claim deeds to the abutting property owners,, and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to make certified copies of this ordinance and attach them to the deeds. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are repealed. Section 4.
