AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 ON TRAFFIC OF THE MUNICIPA
CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, AND PROVIDING STREETS WHERE
PARKING IS PROHIBITED; PROVIDING FOR LIMITED ONE HUNDRED
TWENTY MINUTE PARKING ON STREETS; AND^PROVIDING FOR LIMITED
FOUR •(4) HOUR PARKING ON STREETS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA:
Section 1. That Chapter 25 of the Municipal Code of the City of Am s
Iowa, be and the same is hereby amended and the following be and the same
is hereby enacted to be known as Subsections 13 (a) of Section 25-105. 17 of
the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa:
25-105. 17 Parking is hereby prohibited at all times, except as
may be otherwise provided in the subparagraphs following, on the
streets in the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
(13) a Elm Street on the West side for a distance of One Hundred
Feet North of the North line of Lincoln Way.
Section 2. That Chapter 25 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Ames, Iowa, be and the same is hereby amended by adding the foIbwing there-
to to be known as Section 25-102 (a) of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames
Iowa:
25-102 (a) Parking is limited to One Hundred Twenty minutes on
the South side of Second Street abutting Lots 3 and 4, Block 2 in
College Park Addition to Ames, Iowa, on all days except Sundays
and holidays between the hours of eight o�clock a. m, and five
o'clock P. M.
Section 3. That Chapter 25 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Ames, Iowa, be and the same is hereby amended by adding the following
thereto to be known as Section 25-100 (a) of the Municipal Code of the City
of Ames, Iowa:
25-100 (a) Parking is limited to four hours, at all times, on the
North side of Storm Street from Welch Aven„te to Hayward Avenue,
and on the West sido of Hayward Avenue from Little Street South to
a point 250 feet South of the South line of Storm Street.
Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with
the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
