HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amending Chapter 48 of Municipal Code, Adopting Fire District Map ORDINANCE NO. 2114 An Ordinance Amending Chapter 48 Of The Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, By Repealing Section 48-36 Thereof; Providing For The Establishing of Fire District Subdivisions And An Official Fire District Map; And Adopting An Official Fire District Map in the City of Ames, Iowa: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA: su u_s Section 1. That 48-36 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, be and the same is hereby repealed, and the following be and the same is hereby enacted in lieu thereof to be known as Section 48-36 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa: ' 48-36 FIRE DISTRICTS AND MAP. For the purposes of control of use and construction of buildings and structures, there is hereby " established fire district No. 1, fire district No. 2, and outside fire limits as shown on the official fire district map on file in the office of the City Manager. Said map by this reference thereto is hereby made a part of the building code of the city. The said C map shall be identified by the signature of the Mayor attested by the City Clerk, and bearing the seal of the City under the N', following words: "Ordinance No. 2114 of the City of Ames, Iowa, adopted Dec. 21, 1965 " Section 2. That the official fire district map now on file in the office of the City Manager be and the same is hereby adopted as the official fire district map of the City of Ames, Iowa, and the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the same; place the city seal thereon; this ordinance number; and the date of adoption of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the pro- visions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 4.
