ORDINANCE NO. 2088
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF
THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY REPEALING SECTION 34-3 THEREOF AND
ENACTING A NEW SECTION 34-3 THEREOF PROVIDING FOR THE DIRECTOR
OF FINANCE TO SET ASIDE FUNDS IN THE WATER DEPARTMENT RESERVE
FUND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 34-3 of Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of
the City of Ames, Iowa, be and the same is hereby repealed, and the following
be and the same is hereby enacted in lieu thereof to be known as Section 34-3
of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa:
34-3 DEPOSITS FROM WATER DEPARTMENT FUND. The Director
of Finance is hereby authorized and directed to set aside in said fund
said sums of money from the water department as the City Council
may direct.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and publication as provided by law.
