ORDINANCE NO. 2081
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF
THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY REPEALING SUBSECTION (21a) OF SECTION
25-105. 17; AND PROHIBITING PARKING ON CERTAIN PORTIONS OF
HAYWARD AVENUE IN THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA:
Section 1. That Subsection (21a) of Section 25-105. 17 of the
Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, be and the same is hereby re-
pealed, and the following be and the same is hereby enacted in lieu thereof
to be known as Section 25-105. 17 (21a) of the Municipal Code of the City of
Ames, Iowa:
25-105. 17. Parking is hereby prohibited at all times,
except as may be otherwise provided in the subparagraphs
following, on the streets of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
(21a) Hayward Avenue on the East side from Knapp
Street to a point 600 feet South of the South line of Storm
Street; on the East side thereof for a distance of 100 feet
South of the South line of Lincoln Way; on the West side
thereof for a distance of 22 feet South of the South line of
Lincoln Way; and on the West side thereof for a distance
of 65 feet North of the intersection with Hunt Street.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with
the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
