HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amending Chapter 25, Prohibiting Parking T tc9�: ORDINANCE NO. 2074 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 on TRAFFIC OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY REPEALING SUB-SECTION (27) OF SECTION 25-105. 17; AND PROHIBITING PARKING ON CERTAIN PORTIONS OF KNAPP STREET IN THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA: Section 1. That Sub-section (27) of Section 25-105. 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, be and the same is hereby repealed, and the following be and the same is hereby enacted in lieu thereof to be known as Section 25-105. 17 (27) of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa: 25-105. 17. Parking is hereby prohibited at all times, except as may be otherwise provided in the sub-paragraph following, on the streets of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: (27) Knapp Street on the south side from Ash Avenue to St anton Avenue; and from Sheldon Avenue to Welch Avenue; and for a distance of 75 feet west of the east line of Lot One, Block One, Lee and Little's Addition to Ames, Iowa. On the north side of said Knapp Street for a distance of Fifty (50) feet east of the east line of Lynn Avenue. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3.
