PUBLIC NOTICE
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa, proposes that Sections 42-3(b) and 42-4 of the Municipal Code
of the City of Ames, Iowa, and the official zoning map therein referred to
be amended to rezone from an "A" District (Residence) to a "D" District
(Business and Light Industry), the lands hereinafter set forth:
That portion of the Southwest Quarter of the North-
east Quarter of Section 15, Township 83 North,
Range 24 West of the 5th P. M. , Iowa, lying South
of the centerline of relocated U. S. Highway No. 30.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the proposed ordinance in-
corporating such change is now on file in the office of the City Clerk, Ames,
Iowa, and a hearing on the adoption of the ordinance will be held before the
City Council in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 8:00 o'clock P. M.
on the 6th day of April, 1965. Any interested parties are invited to appear
for or against this proposed ordinance.
