ORDINANCE NO. 2059
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 42-3(b) AND 42-4 OF THE MUNICIPA
CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY REZONING CERTAIN LAND
FROM "A" DISTRICT (RESIDENCE) TO "B" DISTRICT (MULTIPLE RESI-
DENCE).
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA.:
Section 1. That Sections 42-3(b) and 42-4 of the Municipal Code of
the City of Ames, Iowa and the official zoning map therein referred to are
hereby amended to rezone from an "A" District (Residence) to a "B"
District (Multiple Residence), land described as follows:
The West Half of the North Ten Acres of the East Five-Eighths
of the West Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 8, Town-
ship 83 North, Range 24 West of the 5th P. M. , except the
North 70 feet thereof.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with
the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and publication as provided by law.
