ORDINANCE NO. 2047
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 42-3(b) AND 42-4 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY ZONING CERTAIN
LAND AT THE AMES MUNICIPAL AIRPORT AS "D" DISTRICT (BUSINESS
AND LIGHT INDUSTRY)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES,
IOWA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Sections 42-3(b) and 42-4 of the Municipal Code of
the Ciiy of Ames, Iowa, and the officiai zoning map therein referred to are
hereby amended to include land at the Ames Municipal Airport in "D"
District, (Business and Light Industry) the land described as follows:
The Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, and
the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, except
the South 800 feet thereof, and except the North 205 feet
of the East 420 feet of the South 1005 feet thereof, all in
Section 14, Township 83 North, Range 24 West of the 5th
P. M. , Iowa,
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and publication as provided by law.
