TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa proposes that Sections 42-3(b) and 42-4 of the Municipal Code
of the City of Ames, Iowa, and the official zoning map therein referred to
be amended to include in "D" District (Business and Light Industry), the
following described land at the Ames Municipal Airport:
The Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, and the
Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, except the
South 800 feet thereof, and except the North 205 feet of
the East 420 feet of the South 1005 feet thereof, all in
Section 14, Township 83 North, Range 24 West of the
5th P. M., Iowa.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the proposed ordinance incor-
porating such change is now on file in the office of the City Clerk, Ames,
Iowa, and a hearing on the adoption of the ordinance will be held before the
City Council in the council chambers of the City Hall at 8:00 o1clockP. M. ,
Daylight Saving Time on the 15th day of September 1964. Any
interested parties are invited to appear for or against this proposed ordinance.
