HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amending Chapter 25 of Municipal Code, Parking in Library Parking Lot ORDINANCE NO, 2032 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, AND PROVIDING FOR 2 HOUR PARKING ON THE EAST HALF OF THE LIBRARY PARKING LOT. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Chapter 25 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the follow- ing section to be known as Section 25-102, 2 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa: 25-102. 2. Parking is limited to two (2) hours on the East half of the library parking lot from the hours of 9:00 o'clock A. M. to 6:00 o'clock P. M. , except Sundays, Mondays and Holidays, and on Mondays from 12:00 o'clock noon to 9:00 o'clock P. M. The library parking lot is that municipal parking lot located at the Northwest corner of the intersection of Sixth Street and Douglas Avenue. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this 26th day of May 1964. M.
