HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amending Chapter 25 of Municipal Code, Prohibiting Parking } f ORDINANCE NO. 2029 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY REPEALING SUB-SECTION 25-105. 17(2); AND DESIGNATING ASH AVENUE WHERE PARKING IS PROHIBITED. Be It Ordained By the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa as follows: Section 1. That subsection (2) of Section 25-•105. 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa be and the same is hereby repealed and the following be and the same is hereby enacted to be known as Section 25•-105. 17(2) of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa: 25-105. 17. Parking is hereby prohibited at all times, except as may be otherwise provided in the sub- paragraphs following, on the streets of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: (2) Ash Avenue on the East side from Lincoln Way South to thend of the pavement South of Country Club Boulevard; and on the West side thereof for a distance of 65 feet South of the intersection with Knapp Street and for a distance of 10 feet on each side of the private drive at 413 Ash Avenue. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3.
