HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amending Section 42 of Municipal Code (Zoning) ORDINANCE NO. 2022 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 42-3 (b) AND 42-4 OF THE MUNICIPA CODE OF THE CITY OFAMES, IOWA BY RE-ZONING CERTAIN LAND FROM "A" DISTRICT (RESIDENCE) TO "D"DISTRICT (BUSINESS AND LIGHT INDUSTRY). c Be It Ordained By The City Council of The City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: Section 1. That Sections 42-3(b) and 42-4 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa and the official zoning map therein referred to are hereby amended to re-zone from an "A"District (Re sidence) to "D" District (Business and Light Industry) land described as follows: Commencing at a point 244 feet South of the North Quarter corner of Section 14, Township 83 North, Range 24 West of the 5th P. M. , Iowa, thence West 600 feet to the point of beginning, thence South 696. 36 feet along a line parallel to and 600 feet West of the East line of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 14, thence South 590 31. 2 ' West 249. 32 feet, thence Southwesterly 434. 47 feet along a 10:66 foot radius curve concave northerly with a central angle of 230 21' 13b3" and tangent to the preceding course; thence South 71 39' West 105. 56 feet, thence North 00 06' East 995. 05 feet, thence East 721. 7 feet to the point of beginning. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3.
