HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amending Section 42 of Municipal Code (Zoning) Inst. # 2313 Fee $ 2 . 50 ORDINANCE NO. 2016 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 42-3(b) and 42-4 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY REZONING CERTAIN LAND FROM "D" DISTRICT (BUSINESS AND LIGHT INDUSTRY) TO "E" DISTRICT (HEAVY INDUSTRY). BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Sections 42-3(b) and 42-4 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa and the official zoning map therein referred to are hereby amended to rezone from a "D" District (Business and Light Industry) to an "E" District (Heavy Industry) land described as follows: All that portion of Landfill Addition to the City of Ames, Iowa lying North of the North line of Edison Street extended and South of the main line tracks of the Chicago & Northwestern Railway Company. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and i after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this 21st day of January 1964. M. JordaqCity Clerk Pearle P.
