HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amending Chapter 25 of Municipal Code (Traffic) ORDINANCE NO. 2006 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 ON TRAFFIC OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, AND PROHIBITING PARKING ON RELOCATED UNITED STATES HIGHWAY-30 AND ON RAMPS AND CON- NECTIONS OF ITS INTERCHANGE WITH UNITED STATES HIGHWAY #69. Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: Section 1. That Chapter 25 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto sub-paragraph (67), to be known as Section 25-105. 17(67) of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa: 25-105. 17. Parking is hereby prohibited at all times, except as may be otherwise provided in the sub-paragraphs following, on the streets of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: (67) Relocated United States Highway 30 on both sides from the East corporate limits to the West corporate limits of the City of Ames, Iowa, and on both sides of the ramps and connections of its interchange with United States Highway 69. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this 19th day of November 1963. 2�(� (L, /.)
