HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amending Chapter 25 of Municipal Code, Designating 20th Street as a Through Street ORDINANCE NO. 2004 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY REPEALING SECTION 25-40. 15 THEREOF; AND DESIGNATING TWENTIETH STREET AS A THROUGH STREET. Be It Ordained By the City Council of The City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: Section 1. That Section 25-40. 15 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, be and the same is hereby repealed, and the following be and the same is hereby enacted in lieu thereof to be known as Section 25-40. 15 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa: 25-40. 15. Twentieth Street, from the West line of Duff Avenue to the West termination of said Twentieth Street, except at Grand Avenue, is hereby designated as a through street. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this _nth day of November , 1963. M. W. Jo City Clerk Pearle P.
