HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Zoning Code Amendment, Not Adopted ORDINANCE NO. 2002 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 42-3(b) AND 42-4 OF THE MUNICIPA CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA BY RE-ZONING CERTAIN LAND FROM "A" DISTRICT (RESIDENCE) TO "D" DISTRICT (BUSINESS AND LIGHT INDUSTRY). Be It Ordained By The City Council of The City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: Section 1. That Sections 42-3(b) and 42-4 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa and the official zoning map therein referred to are hereby amended to re-zone from an "A"District (Residence) to "D" District (Business and Light Industry) land described as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the center line of Lincoln Way and the West line of Block 2, West Ames Addition to the City of Ames, Iowa; thence South 523. 3 feet, thence West on a line parallel to the center line of Lincoln Way to the East line of Dotson Drive, thence North 523. 3 feet, thence East along the center line of Lincoln Way to the point of beginning. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication, as provided by law. Passed this day of , 1963. M. W. Jordan, City Clerk Pearle P.
