HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amending Chapter 25 of Municipal Code (Parking) ORDINANCE NO. 1'1'1 94 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA BY REPEALING SUB-SECTION (18) OF SECTION 25-105. 17 THEREOF; AND DESIGNATING STREETS WHERE PARKING IS PROHIBITED. Be It Ordained By The City Council of The City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: Section 1. That subsection (18) of Section 25-105. 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, be and the same is hereby repealed, and the following be and the same is hereby enacted to be known as Section 25-105. 17 (18) of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa. 25-105. 17 Parking is hereby prohibited at all times, except as may be otherwise provided in the subparagraphs following, on the streets of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: (18) Gray Avenue on the West side from Greeley Street to Sunset Drive; on the West side thereof from the North line of Sunset Drive to the South line of Gable Lane; and on both sides thereof from the South line of Lincoln Way to the North line of Gable Lane. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this 17th day of Seateraber , 1963. M. W. Jor , City Clerk Pearle P.
