Zv 931 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF A.MES, IOWA, BY REPEALING SECTION 25-78 THERECF ; AND PROHIBITING THE LOADING AND UNLOADING OF TRUCKS AND DRAYS ON MAIN STREET AND LINCOLN WAY IN THE CITY OF AMES, IOW A. Be It Ordained By The City Council of The City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: Section 1. That Section 25-78 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, be and the same is hereby repealed, and the following be and the same is hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as Section 25-78 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa: 2 5-7 8. Trucks and Drays Loading and Unloading. From eight (8) o'clock A. M. to ten (10) o'clock P. M. upon Main Street between Duff Avenue and Clark Avenue and upon Lincoln Way between Stanton Avenue and Hayward Avenue trucks and drays are prohibited from loading and unloading freight, goods and merchandise at all places, stores and buildings where it is possible to perform such work in the adjacent alley. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this 17th day of ;E, „r;t,, 1963. M. ord City Clerk Pearle P.
