HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Vacating Certain Streets in Black's Third Addition y, r Inst . #23,07 Fee S ?, 50 ORDINANCE NO. 1092 AN ORDINANCE VACATING CERTAIN STREETS AND ALLEYS IN BLACK'S THIRD ADDITION TO THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA AND BLACK'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA. Be It Ordained By The City Council of The City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: Section 1. That the following streets and alleys in Black's Third Addition to the City of Ames, Iowa, and Black's Addition to the City of Ames, Iowa, more particularly described as follows: (a) The North and South alley in Block "A"Black's Third Addition to Ames, Iowa; (b) The North and South alley in Block "B"Black's Addition to Ames, Iowa, (c) That part of South Second Street lying West of the West line of Walnut Avenue. (d) That part of South Third Stre et lying West of the East line of the alley extended South in Block '$" Black's Addition to Ames, Iowa, and lying 50 feet North of a line described as beginning at a point in the center line of South Third Street, 3. 1 feet East of the East line of Walnut Avenue, thence to the left westerly along a 881. 5 feet radius curve.. I be and the same are hereby vacated as public streets and alleys. Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute in behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa quit claim deeds to said parcels of land'to the abutting property owners. Section 3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to make a certified copy of this ordinamance and attach the same to the said deed . Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the Provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. ;Section 5.
