AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 42 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF TH
CITY OF AMES, IOWA, AND ORDINANCE NO. 937, AND PROVIDING FOR A
FILING FEE FOR APPEALS TO THE ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT.
Be It Ordained By The City Council of The City of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. That Chapter 42 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Ames, Iowa and Ordinance No. 937 be and the same are hereby amended, and
the following be and the same is hereby enacted to be known as Section 42-38. 1
of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa:
42-38. 1. Filing Fee. All appeals to the board filed with the
secretary shall be accompanied by a filing fee in the sum of $ 7 . 00
payable to City of Ames, Iowa, to cover costs of publishing notice of appeal
and other incidental expense. No refunds shall be made of said fee 6r any
part thereof.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and publication as provided by law.
