ORDINANCE NO. 1089
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 42-3(b) and 42-4 of ORDINANCE
NO. 937 OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY ZONING CERTAIN TOWN LOTS
AS "D" DISTRICT (BUSINESS AND LIGHT INDUSTRY).
Be It Ordained By The City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. That Sections 42-3(b) and 42-4 of Ordinance No. 937 of the
City of Ames, Iowa, and the official zoning map therein referred to are
hereby amended to included certain town lots in "D" District (Business and
Light Industry), said town lots being described as follows:
Lots 4, 5, 8, 9, 12 and 13 of Block 4, Kingsbury Addition
to the City of Ames, Iowa.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and publication as provided by law.

Moved by Brouhard and seconded by Judge Ordinance No. 1089 be
passed on its first reading.

Moved by Bledsoe and seconded by Fisher the rules governing the
passage of ordinances be suspended, the second and third readings
be omitted and Ordinance No. 1089 be placed on its final passage.

Voting Nay: None
Absent: None
Moved by Eschbach and seconded by Brouhard Ordinance No. 1089 do
now pass.

Mayor DeHart declared Ordinance No. 1089 duly passed.
