AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF
THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, REPEALING SECTIONS 25-106 A. 1,
25-106 A. 2, 25-106 A. 3, and 25-106 A. 4 THEREOF; AND PROVIDING
FOR LIMITED PARKING ON CERTAIN STREETS CF THE CITY OF AMES,,
IOWA BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8 A. M. AND 5 P. M. ON CERTAIN DAYS
OF THE WEEK AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION
THEREOF
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AMES, IOWA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Chapter 25 of the Municipal Code of the City
of Ames, Iowa, be and the same is hereby amended by repealing
Sections 2 5-106 A. 1, 25-106 A. 2, 25-106 A. 3 , and 25-106 A. 41$
and the following be and the same are hereby enacted to be known
as Sections 25-106 A. 1, through 25-106 A. 10 of the Municipal
Code of the City of Ames, Iowa.
25-106 A Limited Parking, certain hours on certain days.
It shall be unlawful for any person to park a vehicle on the
streets hereinafter c2 ignated between the hours of eight
(8) A. M. and five (5) . M. on the days hereinafter
designated. The anager shall have appropriate
signs erected on said reets.
25-»106 A. 1 Dougla Avenue. On the East side thereof
from Sixth Street to Thirteenth Street on Tuesday, Thursday
and Saturday, and on the West side thereof on Monday,
Wednesday anal Friday.
2510.E A. 2 Kellog Avenue. On the East side thereof
from Seth Street t Thirteenth Street on Tuesday,
Thursday a Saturday, and on the West side thereof
on Monday, W nesday and Friday.
25-106 A. 3 Burne t Avenue. On the East side thereof
from Si Street to hirteenth Street on Tuesday, Thursday
and Satur , and on he West side thereof on Monday,

25-106 A. 4 Clark Avenue. On the East side thereof
from Sixth Street to Thirt:0enth Street on Tuesday,
Thursday and Saturday, and on the West side thereof
on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

from Grand Avenue to Duff Avenue on Tuesday, Thursday
and Saturday, and on the South side thereof on Monday,
Wednesday and Friday.
25-106 A. 6 Welch Avenue. On the East side thereof
from Knapp Street to Storm Street on Tuesday, Thursday
and Saturday, and on the West side thereof on Monday,
Wednesday and Friday.

25-106 A. 7 Chamberlain Street. On the North side thereof
from Hayward Avenue to Welch Avenue on Tuesday,
Thursday and Saturday, and on the South side thereof on
Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
25-106 A. 8 Hayward Avenue. On the East side thereof
from Knapp Street to Storm Street on Tuesday, Thursday
and Saturday, and on the West side thereof on Monday,
Wednesday and Friday.
25-106 A.9 Hunt Street. On the North side thereof from
South Sheldon Avenue to Welch Avenue on Tuesday,
Thursday and Saturday, and on the South side thereof on
Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
25-106 A. 10 Wood Street. On the North side thereof
from Hyland Avenue to State Avenue on Tuesday, Thursday
and Saturday, and on the South side thereof on Monday,
Wednesday and Friday.
Se ction 2. Penalty. Any person violating any of the
provisions of this Ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof,
be fined not exceeding One Hundred ($100. 00) Dollars, or
be imprisoned not exceeding thirty (30) days.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
