HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amending Chapter 25 of Municipal Code (Traffic) ORDINANCE NO. 1079 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 ON TRAFFIC OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY REPEALING SUB-SECTI ON (60) of SECTION 25-105. 17 THEREOF; and PROHIBITING PARKING ON CERTAIN PORTIONS OF TWELFTH STREET. Be It Ordained By the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: Section 1. That Sub-section (60) of Section 25-105. 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, be and the same is hereby repealed, and the following enacted in lieu thereof to be known as Section 25-105. 17 (60) of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa: 25-105. 17. Parking is hereby prohibited at all times, except as may be otherwise provided, in the sub-paragraph following, on the streets of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: (60) Twelfth Street on the north side from Grand Avenue to Northwestern Avenue and from Duff Avenue to Douglas Avenue, and on the south side thereof for a distance of fifty (50) feet west of the west line of Grand Avenue. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this 21stday of h,ne 1963. M. W. Jorda ity Clerk Pearle P.
