Be It Ordained By the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: Section 1. That Sections 42-3(b) and 42-4 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, and Ordinance No. 937, and the official zoning map i therein referred to are hereby amended to include land recently annexed to the City of Ames, Iowa in "A" Districts (Residence), said land being described as follows: That part of the SW-1/4 of Section 26, T84N, R24W lying West of the centerline of Skunk River (except Inis Grove Park), and except beginning at a point on the West line of Section 35, T84N, R24W 303 feet North of the Southwest corner of the NW-1/4, NW-1/4 said Section 35, thence East to the centerline of Jensen Avenue in Broadmoor Third Addition to Ames, Iowa, thence North along the centerline of Jensen Avenue to the centerline of Luther Drive in Broadmoor Third Addition to Ames, Iowa, thence West to a point 377. 6 feet East of the West line of said Section 35, thence North parallel to the West line of said Section 35 and the West line of Section 26, T84N, R24W to the South line of Overland Heights Subdivision, thence West to the centerline of Grove Avenue in said Overland Heights Subdivision, thence North along the centerline of said Grove Avenue to the South line of Lot 2, Scalado Ridge Second Subdivision, thence West to the Southeast corner of Lot 1, said Scalado Ridge Second Subdivision, thence North along the East line of said Lot 1 and parallel to the West line of said Section 26 to the South line of the North Half of the North Half of the NW-1/41 SW-1/4 of said Section 26, thence East 200 feet, thence North 120 feet, thence West to the West line of said Section 26, thence South along the West lines of said Section 26 and Section 35 to the place of beginning. Section 2. That Sections 42-3(b) and 42-4 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, and Ordinance No. 937 and the official zoning map therein referred to are hereby amended to include land recently annexed to the City of Ames, Iowa in "B" Districts (Multiple Residence), said land being described as follows: Beginning at a point on the West line of Section 35, T84N, R24W 303 feet North of the Southwest corner of the NW-1/4, NW-1/4 said Section 35, thence East to the centerline of Jensen Avenue in Broadmoor Third Addition to Ames, Iowa, thence North along the centerline of Jensen Avenue to the centerline of Luther Drive in Broadmoor T ird Addition to Ames, Iowa, thence West to a point 377. 6 feet'l:ast of the West line of said Section 35, thence North parallel to the West line of said Section 35 and the West line of Section 26, T84N, R24W to the South line of Overland Heights Subdivision, thence West to the centerline of Grove Avenue in said Overland Heights Subdivision, thence North along the centerline of said Grove Avenue to the South line of Lot 2, -2- Scalado Ridge Second Subdivision, thence West to the South- east corner of Lot 1, said Scalado Ridge Second Subdivision, thence North along the East line of said Lot 1 and parallel to the West line of said Section 26 to the South line of the North Half of the North Half of the NW-1/4, SW-1/4 of said Section 26, thence East 200 feet, thence North 120 feet, thence West to the West line of said Section 26, thence South along the West lines of said Section 26 and Section 35 to the place of beginning. Section 3. That Sections 42-3(b) and 42-4 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa and Ordinance No. 937, and the official zoning map therein referred to are hereby amended to include land recently annexed to the City of Ames, Iowa in "D" Districts (Business and Light Industry), said land being described as follows: All of the Southwest Quarter of Section 6, Township 83 North, Range 23 West of the 5th P. M. , Iowa, lying South of the South line of the Chicago and Northwestern Railway right-of-way, except the West 500 feet thereof. Section 4. That Sections 42-3(b) and 42-4 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, and Ordinance No. 937 and the official zoning map therein referred to, are hereby amended to include land recently annexed to the City of Ames, Iowa in "E" Districts (Heavy Industry), said land being described as follows: All that part of the SW-1/4, Section 1, T83N, R24W, lying South of the North line of the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad right-of-way and lying West of the centerline of Skunk River except the West 300 feet of the South 217. 8 feet thereof. Section 5. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 6.
